Flight Training Materials:

Most students buy to much private pilot garbage. Wasting money that should have been spent flying.
First there is a lot of information available for free on the internet. We will help find what is useful and what is not.

Here is what we recommend for Private Pilots:

ASA Private Pilot Written Test Prep 2010 #ASA-TP-P-10 Book - $16.95
Is this ASA book better than Gleim's red book. No, It is the exact same material no better or worse. I like the format a little better. I like the fact that it includes CT-8080-2E the actual figure book used on the written exam. Just being familiar with this figure book will help you on the exam. ASA is the only one that does this.

Oral Exam Guide: Private #ASA-OEG-P8 - $12.95
Contains the questions most frequently asked by FAA examiners during the airplane check-ride, and the appropriate responses. Best possible prep for ORAL.

Rotating Plotter #ASA-CP-RLX - $14.95
This is one place that you don’t want to be cheap. Buy a rotating plotter. If you have a fixed plotter Ii will work but spend the extra $2 and get a descent rotating plotter.

Standard Pilot Logbook - $7.95
The finest and most versatile logbooks for aviators. ASA's logbooks have been "The Standard" of the industry for over 30 years and comply with the FAA's record keeping requirements

FREE - An e-mail training packet from me that includes 8 years of ground school experience and all the internet links.

CX-2 Pathfinder electronic flight computer - $79.95 - Click here to try it before you buy it.
The best electronic E6-B Electronic Flight Computer on the market. Comes with our step by step instructions of how to use the CX-2 for the FAA written exam. NOTE: You can use the club CX-2, you don't need to purchase.
